7×8,5cm
Terracotta clay, steel wire, acrylic & oil paint, gloss
«I love the metaphor of having a jazz band of ladybugs in my head to describe what ADHD feels like. The ladybug fairy Lykke is a celebration of that ♡”
A reminder of renewal, vitality and light in the darkness. Though some neurodiversity can be mentally tiring, I also believe in appreciating the power of tuning in to so many channels at once. I hope this Lykke finds someone who finds the silver lining in all situations. It can be as deep as you need it to be ♡
Ladybugs are a symbol of good luck, hope and protection around the world as well as being a cute sight to see. This creature is inspired by the 22-spotted yellow ladybug. Unlike the classic red ladybug that feeds on aphids, it feeds on fungus, and has a bright yellow colour to scare off predators ♡
~
PS. All from the Lykke series are fragile, making them hard to send over long distances. Recommended for people close to south-east Norway. If not, we will find a way :)
